Submissions

At Ribble Book, we are always on the lookout for fresh and vibrant voices in literature. We’re committed to discovering and nurturing talented writers. If you have a manuscript that you believe aligns with our publishing ethos, we invite you to submit it for consideration.

Submission Guidelines

To ensure your submission is reviewed in a timely and fair manner, please follow the guidelines outlined below:

  1. Original Work: All submissions must be the original work of the author. We do not accept previously published works (either self-published or through another publishing house).
  2. Manuscript Preparation: Your manuscript should be neatly typed, with double-spaced lines, and paginated. Please use a standard, readable font.
  3. Cover Letter: Include a cover letter with your submission, providing a brief synopsis of your work, your writing background, and any other relevant information about your submission.
  4. Content Standards: We seek content that is engaging and thoughtfully constructed. All submissions must be free of content that is:

    • Profane or vulgar
    • Excessively violent
    • Sexually explicit
    • Glorifying practices contrary to the standards taught by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints
  5. Exclusivity: By submitting your manuscript to us, you agree not to submit the same work to other publishers until we have completed our review. We endeavor to review submissions within 8 to 12 weeks.
  6. Submission Format: Please send us your manuscript as a Microsoft Word document or a PDF file.
  7. Do Not Send Physical Copies: We only accept digital submissions. Physical manuscripts sent to our offices will not be reviewed.
